Who we are
Kayseri Martinez runs Bunbit and looks after your data. Reach us at bunbit.support@gmail.com.
On this website
If you join the waitlist we keep your email, the page language and where you signed up, and we use them to tell you about Bunbit. If you send feedback we keep your answers and, only if you type it, your email, and we use them to decide what to build. Both are stored with Neon, our database provider. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies.
In the app, without an account
Your habits and notes stay on your phone, and there’s no account on our servers. If you allow usage analytics, they run without an account too.
In the app, with an account
We keep what it takes to sync Bunbit across your phones: your email and how you sign in; your habits, cues, schedules and reminders; what you log, including notes; Clover’s level, carrots, badges and looks; your “About you” answers on sleep, stress, water and movement; your answer to the 13+ question; your timezone, units, theme and quiet hours; and push tokens, so reminders reach your phone.
Your notes
Notes are stored on our servers so they can sync. They aren’t end-to-end encrypted.
Services we use
Supabase holds account data in the US (us-east-1). Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers notifications. PostHog runs usage analytics and error tracking, in the US. hCaptcha protects sign-in.
Usage analytics
Nothing is sent unless you say yes when the app asks. If you do and you have an account, analytics are tied to it by its ID, not your email. They carry habit types, goals and counts, never habit names or notes. You can change your answer anytime with “Share usage data” in Settings.
Age
Bunbit is for ages 13 and up. You tell us your age yourself when you start.
Your choices
You can export your data or delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers right away. Usage data in PostHog is kept separately, so it stays until you ask us to remove it. Email bunbit.support@gmail.com for that, for your waitlist email or feedback, or to delete your account if you can’t use the app, and we’ll do it within 30 days. We don’t sell your data.
